What is MTN Family & Friends?

MTN Family & Friends is a service that is exclusive to the MTN PayGo plan.

MTN Family & Friends allows you register:

• Four (4) MTN numbers
• One (1) other GSM network number
• One (1) US or Canadian number

You can then call all these numbers at 20kobo/sec right from the first minute.

Please note that  you will be charged at normal MTN PayGo rates for calls to numbers that you do not register as your MTN Family & Friends numbers.

Also you will be charged at normal MTN Pay Go rates for calls to all other networks.

If you are on MTN TalkOn, you will not be able to use the MTN Family & Friends service.

However, as soon as you move back to MTN PayGo by texting 400 to 131, you will be able to enjoy true value!

How do I view my MTN Family & Friends numbers?

You can view your MTN Family & Friends numbers by dialling *560#.  You will see all your registered MTN Family & Friends numbers immediately

You can delete any of your MTN Family & Friends number by dialling *560*2*MSISDN#where MSISDN is the MTN number or other GSM network number or the US or Canadian number. For example:

How do I change an MTN Family & Friends Number?

To change an MTN Family & Friends number:

• First delete the number by dialling *560*2*MSISDN# where MSISDN is the MTN number or other GSM network number or the US or Canadian number that you want to change.
• Register your new MTN Family & Friends number by dialling *560*1*MSISDN# where MSISDN is the MTN number or other GSM network number or the US or Canadian number.
• Do remember that you cannot register more than six Family & Friends numbers; made up of 4 MTN-MTN numbers, 1 other network number and 1 US or Canada number 

How much does it cost to register my Family and Friends Numbers?

Registration of your first 6 Family and Friends numbers is FREE.

If you decide to change any of these 6 numbers, you will be charged NGN50.
