R&B star Beyoncé is reportedly set to release her new album this June, which coincides with her headline performance at this year’s Glastonbury festival. There has been no official word as yet, but the rumour mill is now in full swing with the star apparently been spotted on the set of her new music video in Los Angelas. It’s believed that some 200 African dancers were on the set for the first single “Girl”.
She’s enlisted the help of Francis Lawrence, who is famous for his work with Lady Gaga (Bad Romance) and Britney Spears (Circus) The singer is thought to be learning authentic dance moves from the troop, which will then be incorporated into the choreography for the video.
A Beyoncé fan wrote that “The theme of Girl is like a female empowerment/girl power type of song that is a definite club banger with Top 40/Worldly appeal.”

Some of the names that have been dropped about working with the “Halo” singer on this album include Ne-Yo, The Dream and Frank Ocean. He recently posted the picture above and said, “This is the room i’m working in this day. not to brag but man, this is surreal. Like..she’s singing my songs. if time were to stop right now, the past couple weeks would be near the top of the highlight reel for my short time on earth.”
